BLCMT started to offer a Select & Collect service on March 16th 2021. The service enables customers to request up to 5 books which are preselected by library staff. Centurion Traffic Management have requested weekend closures (Saturday and Sunday only) of the network rail bridge for structural works. It is expected that the works will commence on the 17th April and be completed 3 weekends later on the 2nd May 2021.

Burton Latimer Community Library have launched a Select & Collect Service, this is now live. Please see the attached poster for details.
Due to the current guidelines the library will remain closed for browsing, and we will update customers as soon as we are able to open officially.

Due to category 1 carriageway defects on the above road between the A14 roundabout and Station Road, Isham/Burton Latimer it will be necessary to close the road for one weekend commencing at 8pm on the 19th March and reopen by 6am on the 22nd March 2021.

2nd February 2021
- Disabled toilet: associated pipes have been boxed in and area made good and painted.
- Boiler cupboard has been erected and painted – skirting now painted.
- Toys from children's centre are going over slowly to booth meadow.
- Health and Safety training. (Fire, First Aid, COSSH etc.) all booked.

The Town Council are saddened to hear of the passing away of Captain Sir Tom Moore, at the meeting held 2nd February 2021 a minutes silence was held in his memory.
The flag within Millennium Gardens has been lowered to half mast on Wednesday 3rd February as a mark of respect.

Burton Latimer Town Council wishes to express their gratitude to Les Allen who has been a Burton Latimer firefighter for the last 41 years. He officially retired yesterday the 12th January 2021. He started at the age of 19 in 1979. Thank you Les for your dedication & service to the Town.
