Road closure A509

Dear All, Western Power are requiring to carry out overhead works on a section of the A509 just south of the A14. To undertake these works safely will require that the road is closed from the 18th to 20th August 2021 overnight only. The diversion for the closure will be via the A510, A6 and A14. Pot hole repairs. Church Street

Works will be carried out this weekend. These will be addressing the pot holes along Church Street. The road cannot be closed as access is required for buses and emergency vehicles. We have been asked to request that residents avoid driving into this area this weekend so that the works can be completed.

Delivery Routes

To confirm the situation re lorries in the town the following residents concerns, these are the rules which should be followed

1) All lorries delivering to Sainsbury or One Stop are allowed to drive in High St. Other deliveries within the town i.e the Old Vic or the Conservative Club etc Are allowed

2) Those delivering to Keelings or Bosworths can only come and go via Higham Rd and Finedon Rd

TTRO(20/21) N575 - Station Road, Isham

Centurion Traffic Management have requested weekend closures (Saturday and Sunday only) of the network rail bridge for structural works. It is expected that the works will commence on the 17th April and be completed 3 weekends later on the 2nd May 2021.
